Na’im has been a hurricane of hot takes in the Philly comedy scene since he started just over 5 years ago. He is one of the original 2 hosts of Durag and the Deertag and has been seen performing all throughout the country while opening for Shane Gillis. His wild storytelling (literally the craziest shit you’ll ever hear)\, mixed with his quick witted joke writing ability\, has put Na’im on a short list of up and coming comedians YOU NEED TO SEE before he blows up. \nRob Crews \naka “The Crews”. As he would say he is “Jewish\, but other than that pretty cool”. He is a 2023 Skankfest performer and a former Phillies Funniest Finalist. Rob was a late addition to the Durag and the Deertag team\, but he was the perfect addition. His brain only thinks about jokes and boobs\, which is an unbelievable skill to have. He has opened for such comedians as Theo Von\, Brian Regan\, and Damon Wayans. \nHis debut comedy special “Mike and Molly” is currently streaming on both Tubi and online on YouTube. \nHe has “BFDBAD” tattooed on his arm. “Be Funny\, Don’t Be a Dick”. That’s the mission. What a world! \nNick Higdon began performing standup in Louisville in 2020 after months of boredom from being locked inside during the pandemic. He moved to Cincinnati a year later to work on his craft and has steadily found his place in the scene. He regularly hosts at Go Bananas here in Cincy and has opened for national talents such as Jeremiah Watkins\, Sean Patton\, and Steve Byrne. \nNaomi Fitter escaped from Ohio at the age of 22. Her soothing midwestern voice has been described as “sexy\,” “librarian-like\,” and “nearly inaudible.” She has opened for Bil Dwyer\, Laurie Kilmartin\, and Whitney Cummings and performed in the All Jane Comedy Festival. When she’s not telling jokes\, she spends her time studying robots. \nDennis Piper: the man\, the myth\, the legend! DESCRIPTION:The Comet Bluegrass All-Stars (CBAS) assembled in 1996 as the Sunday night house band at The Comet. Since that time the popularity of the band has grown beyond the Comet lounge\, opening for such national acts as Sam Bush\, Blue Highway\, Del McCoury\, Peter Rowan and Ricky Skaggs. \nThe Sunday night Bluegrass sessions at the Comet are informal and known to draw a diverse\, “listening” audience\, from small children to senior citizens. As one of the midwest’s most acclaimed stand-up comedians\, her candor\, touch of vulgarity\, and infectious sense of humor reveal an earnestness and vulnerability that invites us to find the humor in tragedy. \n \nMandee was named a breakout performer at Limestone Comedy Festival and the Memphis Comedy Festival\, and has recently featured for Whitney Cummings\, Michelle Wolf\, Laurie Kilmartin\, Tig Notaro\, Todd Barry\, and Anthony Jeselnik. \n \nHer one-woman show\, “My Left Boob”\, received the Underdog Award for it’s sold-out debut at the 2019 IndyFringe and Kansas City’s Best of Fringe award in 2022. In 2023\, she received a grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women to film her first comedy special. \n \nMandee produces the celebrated roast show Character Assassination and the storytelling show We Still Like You. \n \nRashika Jaipuriar is a journalist turned stand-up comedian based in Cincinnati\, Ohio. DESCRIPTION:The Comet Bluegrass All-Stars (CBAS) assembled in 1996 as the Sunday night house band at The Comet. Since that time the popularity of the band has grown beyond the Comet lounge\, opening for such national acts as Sam Bush\, Blue Highway\, Del McCoury\, Peter Rowan and Ricky Skaggs. \nThe Sunday night Bluegrass sessions at the Comet are informal and known to draw a diverse\, “listening” audience\, from small children to senior citizens. Those attending the shows find each member of the band accomplished singers and multi-instrumentalists in their own right\, with the live combination of these players presenting an even greater sum than its parts\, through amazing musical interplay and high lonesome bluegrass harmony.
