Marcella’s debut half hour comedy special Bitch\, Grow Up. was released in 2023 on HBO MAX. It’s a half hour that fully represents the comedians abilities to handle all forms of comedy – from one liners to stories to crowd work – the many years she’s put in absolutely shines through. Of the special\, Latin Media writes that Marcella “manages to ruffle feathers while delivering a routine that feels absolutely joyous.” Decider.com writes\, “she has earned this moment.” \nIn 2025\, Marcella can be seen on the upcoming second season of Poker Face on Peacock\, as well as returning to After Midnight on CBS where she made a great first impression last year\, according to Vulture. She relocated to Chicago where she runs her monthly show\, Comedy Is Dead! on the second Thursdays of the month at the Lincoln Lodge. The show is a result of her podcast of the same name\, which tackles her experience with the industry and why she feels stand up is currently in a strange place. She hopes it inspires more comedians to put more care in their craft and helps audiences appreciate stand up. She is also currently working on her first solo show.
