Since that time the popularity of the band has grown beyond the Comet lounge\, opening for such national acts as Sam Bush\, Blue Highway\, Del McCoury\, Peter Rowan and Ricky Skaggs. \nThe Sunday night Bluegrass sessions at the Comet are informal and known to draw a diverse\, “listening” audience\, from small children to senior citizens. Those attending the shows find each member of the band accomplished singers and multi-instrumentalists in their own right\, with the live combination of these players presenting an even greater sum than its parts\, through amazing musical interplay and high lonesome bluegrass harmony.

In 2016 he was a New Face at Just For Laughs in Montreal\, and in 2019 he did standup on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Drunk History\, Corporate\, This is Not Happening\, The Moth\, Risk! and WTF with Marc Maron have all featured him over the years. At the current moment\, Dave lives in beautiful Brooklyn\, New York with his very old cat. His first album is out now on Aspecialthing Records. \n \nKarl Spaeth is a stand-up comedian from Cincinnati\, OH. He is co-hosts the long running showcase\, MOTRmouth\, and is a co-creator the multimedia sketch show\, Future Science. \n \nCarly Ballerini has written for Cards Against Humanity and runs the Chicago chapter of Don’t Tell Comedy. Since that time the popularity of the band has grown beyond the Comet lounge\, opening for such national acts as Sam Bush\, Blue Highway\, Del McCoury\, Peter Rowan and Ricky Skaggs. \nThe Sunday night Bluegrass sessions at the Comet are informal and known to draw a diverse\, “listening” audience\, from small children to senior citizens. And The Philadelphia Weekly called their monthly comedy show\, DeAnarchy\, “one of the best comedy shows in the country\,” which is very validating and mysterious\, since that show takes place in New York City. \nThey were recently featured in Hannah Gadsby’s Gender Agenda on Netflix. They’re really great at comedy\, is the point. (And maybe less great at writing bios. Do you think “Loose Cannon of Comedy” will stick?) \nThe UK Telegraph says they’re “Smart. Very funny.
