Our Beloved Comet in Northside, will celebrate its 30th Anniversary on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with a full day of music, food, and festivities that pay homage to three decades of community, creativity, and cocktails.

Since opening its doors in 1995, The Comet has become a cornerstone of Cincinnati’s nightlife and music scene — known for its legendary burritos, iconic jukebox, and eclectic lineup of live performances. To honor 30 years of good times, The Comet is hosting an all-day celebration packed with signature drinks, exclusive food specials, limited-edition merch, and live performances spanning the venue’s rich history.

To Celebrate we are throwing a good ol fashioned throw down.

All Day:
Enjoy all your favorite Comet cocktails, including classics like Tequila Sol, Uncle Bill’s Lemonade, Irish Ass, Irish Coffee, and Bloody Marys.

Sample from a special spicy tequila flight, featuring tequilas infused with Chocolate Scorpion, White Scorpion, Apocalypse Scorpion, and 7 Pot Jonah peppers — not for the faint of heart.

Savor “The Comet Burrito” — black and pinto beans, rice, Monterey cheese, lettuce, onion, and your choice of salsa — served at its original 1995 price of just $3.50.

Brunch Specials

  • Sausage, Kale & Goat Cheese Lasagna with preserved lemon and pomodoro
  • Bone-in Fried Chicken Leg & Thigh with blueberry cornbread waffle, bourbon brown sugar butter, and hot honey

3 PM – 6 PM:
DJ Bryan Dilsizian and DJ School Grey
A DJ faceoff between Bryan Dilsizian and Brian Mulroy, spinning the best of the award-winning Comet jukebox.

6:30 PM – 9 PM:
The Comet Bluegrass All-Stars
Two sets of the best bluegrass in Cincinnati — a Comet tradition that continues to define Sunday nights in Northside.

9:30 PM – 12:30 AM:
The Long Gones – Cincinnati garage rockers bringing high-energy punk and fuzzed-out rock since 1996.
SNÖRKLER – Memphis-based costume party punk freakazoids bringing chaos and fun to close out the night.
