Looking for an intimate comedy club experience near you in Cincinnati? Bombs Away! Comedy operates as a comedy club inside legendary music venue The Comet. Each week we host the nation’s best touring comedians, regional, and local comedians providing a unique comedy club experience in the heart of Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati. Bombs Away! Comedy is the best place to celebrate life’s wins, have a unique date night, or your bachelor / bachelorette party. If you have ever wanted to say, “I saw them ‘when'”, this is your ‘when’.

Dan Alten is a nationally touring intelligent idiot from Kentucky who has headlined shows in 30 states playing everything from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, Sarah Sherman from SNL, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound & David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric, various punk bands with silly names, and a guy at an open mic who tried to throw his father’s ashes into the crowd. He has recorded 2 albums, written a zine, and filmed a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand up show that has still not aired. You will enjoy him and if not you can spit on his car.

All Momma Boronkay wanted was for her three sons to have nice families and secure jobs, which is exactly what the other two boys did…then there was Bill.

Told he’d never make it in television, Bill Boronkay earned 5 Emmy Awards during his sportscasting and hosting career where his biggest thrills came from making his co workers laugh. When his career stalled, Bill became a comedian. The journey takes Boronkay across the country and oddly enough, back into television. In 2017, Bill returned to host the Emmy Awards (Great Lakes Region) where he helped honor people who wouldn’t give him a job.

Self deprecating and insightful, audiences quickly relax and enjoy the ride of a night with Boronkay. Bill also currently hosts the nationally syndicated, “Cruise-In” on the “FOX Sports,” “Bally Sports,” “Rev’n” and “Fun Roads” television networks.

Boronkay’s been heard on Sirius/XM, Bob & Tom, ESPN Radio and various radio stations across the country. He’s also host and creator of the web series, “The Fired Sports Guy.” In 2020, Dry Bar Comedy released Bill’s first stand up special, which is gaining views globally. Boronkay’s been seen on Comedy Dynamics, Funny or Die, featured on ComicSeen and performs everywhere from clubs, cruise ships, colleges, corporate and church events to a tour of Pennsylvania prisons (where he was heckled by a service dog), Funny Bones, Improvs, Catch a Rising Star, the Laughing Skull Festival and a renovated suburban attic. Bill Boronkay is a can’t miss comedian.

Jessica Graue has been telling jokes since 2013 after many of her students and drunk aunts told her she was funny. Her passion for writing has led her to journalism, teaching writing and now the stage.

She has performed at comedy clubs, bars and street corners. The road has taken her to West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky to perform. From 2015-2018, she was nominated as Best Local Comedian in the Best of Dayton poll by Dayton.com. She has hosted for touring comedians at Wiley’s Comedy Club, practiced improv, acted in a web series and movie, and even hosted a cos play contest. She’s been a professor for 16 years and a journalist for 19 years. She writes for the Dayton Daily News and has won numerous Associated Press awards.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, Phil Pointer brings his unique perspective on the world around him with a mix of sarcasm, observation of daily life, and self deprecation. Phil is a regular at Go Bananas Comedy Club in Cincinnati, OH, & has performed at many other clubs including Planet Of The Tapes in Louisville, Helium in Indianapolis, The Comedy Attic in Bloomington, Zanies in Chicago. He has been a part of Gilda’s Laughfest in Grand Rapids, MI, Brew-Ha-Ha in Cincinnati, OH, & Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington, IN.
